GENERAL CONTRACTING

PRECONSTRUCTION
Our extensive background in planning enables us to provide assessments and recommendations that result in informed business decisions. Preconstruction planning minimizes interruption to the client’s work environment and resulting in the most cost and time effective outcomes. Our team assists the client and designers to maximize the project value and to minimize any potential disruptions during construction. Early collaboration during the design phase adds value and enhances schedule control. During the preconstruction phase, we will complete value engineering, collaborate with builders/planners, develop the schedule and a logistics plan, establishes project parameters and preliminary budget, conducts a site assessment, coordinates team alignment, and prepares protocol procedures to efficiently and safely build the project. Our team follows a carefully designed and tested process to ensure the best results and value for our clients.
CONCEPTUAL BUDGETS
Working closely with our industry partners and clients, we provide cost estimates and preliminary schedules to assist in determining the feasibility of the project goals. We provide these services by utilizing simple floor plans, test fits and completing site surveys.
SCHEDULING
JRG Building Group utilized Critical Path Method scheduling to establish the overall project schedule from award through project closeout. The schedule contains activities which will be used to track all deliverables, including procurement and permitting tasks. The master schedule has been developed with the input of the entire project team including subcontractors and vendors. Schedule updates are completed periodically throughout the project based on the current activities in process or finished. Subcontractors are kept informed through three week look-ahead schedules that are issued weekly which include the status of scheduled activities and any modifications. Impacts by tasks such as permitting, inspections, and procurement lead times are included. We will use all our scheduling tools and expertise to ensure the project is completed on time.

JRG Building Group has a successful track record of completing Design/Build construction projects with an integrated delivery approach. The design-build delivery method gives the client one point of contact for both the design and construction phases and involvement throughout the process. It offers a collaborative environment with the client, architect, contractor, and consultants, creating a successful partnership. Design-build improves efficiency and saves time and money, making it the best overall value for a fast-paced schedule driven project.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
JRG’s Construction Management services include budgeting, cost-estimating, value engineering, design team selection, subcontractor and vendor selection and constructability analysis as well as scheduling, phasing and site logistics plans. Throughout the project, our services encompass proactive quality control, safety management, and construction administration. JRG employs LEED Accredited Professionals (APs), and continually invests in their continued education to maintain accreditation. Credential maintenance is not only required to sustain certification but vital to the ever-changing demands and conditions of our environment.
